Norman Covan, a third generation jeweler, started out on the bench as a diamond setter and aspiring designer in historic Istanbul. Inspired by the mixture and backgrounds of Hellenic, Roman and Ottoman cultures, Norman’s unique flavor has emerged within his compositions and unforgettable pieces. With the success of his career, Norman relocated to the fashion capital of the world− Paris, France. Born with an eye for exquisite women’s-wear, he never ceases to nourish his worldly inspirations. Norman Covan Co. established its Los Angeles design and manufacturing studio in 1995, leading to the birth of Kovan Jewelers. Norman’s precious creations continue to be enjoyed by women throughout the world.
